Matt Boyd continued his stellar outing in the bottom of the sixth inning.
John Ryan Murphy flew out to shortstop Jose Iglesias in shallow left field to start the bottom of the inning. Byron Buxton then flew out to second baseman Andrew Romine, who made a running catch in shallow right field. Brian Dozier grounded out to Iglesias to end the inning. After six, the Tigers remain ahead, 6-0.
