The Tigers welcome back a big bat to their lineup.
Miguel Cabrera is back after missing two full games because of lower back stiffness, hitting cleanup for Tuesday's game against the Texas Rangers. First pitch is 8:05 p.m.
Cabrera is hitting .253 with 13 home runs and 53 RBIs this season, which pales in comparison to previous years. He's back in the heart of the order that faces righty A.J. Griffin (5-3, 5.40 ERA), who is making just his third start since May.
Also in the lineup is John Hicks (.289 batting average), who is catching in place of James McCann.
