The Jim Aducci show continued as the hot-hitting journeyman drilled a leadoff double to left-center. After James McCann struck out swinging for the third time tonight, Jose Iglesias delivered for the Tigers with an RBI triple to right field that pushed the lead to 6-1.
They would add another tally to that lead.
With a runner on third, Andrew Romine hit what should have been a routine ground ball to third base, but Trevor Plouffe couldn't come up with it, leaving the Tigers with runners on the corners and just one out.
