Kyler Murray expected to be Oklahoma's QB despite being drafted by A's

In a twist, Kyler Murray could make more money than Lincoln Riley this year, while both of them try to lead Oklahoma to a Big 12 football championship.

That's because Murray -- the Sooners' expected QB -- was picked ninth overall by the Oakland A's on Monday night, a draft slot that has an assigned value of $4.7 million.

Murray told reporters he plans to play football in 2018.

For Oklahoma's baseball team, Murray hit cleanup and played center field.
