Ryan Carpenter stunned with an outstanding effort on Sunday as the Hens roughed up the Bulls. The beleaguered lefty tossed a six inning scoreless gem, punching out 11 Bulls to just three hits allowed. Victor Reyes, Willi Castro, and Dawel Lugo came through again with strong offensive performances, and Daniel Pinero launched his fourth home run. The Hens racked up 13 hits along the way. Jose Fernandez allowed three runs in the eighth inning to lose the shutout.
