After getting rained out on Friday, the Mud Hens got good pitching from Bailey Horn and Matt Manning to make it four straight over the Storm Chasers. They didn’t swing the bats too well either, but they took advantage of opportunities.
The lefty Horn got the short start, and he fired two scoreless innings with four strikeouts. Manning took over in the third. He walked the first hitter he faced, but retired the next three in order to send it to the bottom half.
Brian Serven and Riley Unroe opened the bottom of the third with singles, and Brewer Hicklen was hit by a pitch to load the bases.
