Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Jordan Zimmermann is scheduled to make a rehab assignment Monday with the West Michigan Whitecaps.
The Class-A affiliate will host the South Bend Cub at 7:05 p.m. at Fifth Third Ballpark.
Zimmermann was placed on the Tigers' disabled list with a right shoulder impingement May 8, just three days after throwing five scoreless innings against the Royals.
