ANAHEIM, Calif. -- J.D. Martinez's right foot is still sore, but doctors say that's normal.

Tigers lineup: J.D. Martinez starting, batting 6th in first game back
Martinez played Thursday in Georgia for the Triple-A Toledo Mud Hens, the final game in his week-long rehab assignment.
Martinez was only 1-for-14 on his rehab assignment with Triple-A Toledo and he planned on getting a few more days of work. But an injury to Detroit Tigers outfielder Jim Adduci before Thursday's game caused the plans to change.
