DETROIT -- JaCoby Jones hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 10th inning to lead the Tigers to a 3-2 win over the Kansas City Royals in Game 1 of a doubleheader Friday at Comerica Park.
Jones worked the count to 2-2 against Royals reliever Brad Keller before hitting a line shot over the Tigers bullpen.
It was the second walk-off win for the Tigers in three days. Dixon Machado hit a home run to beat the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday.
The Tigers (8-9) have won four in a row. The Royals (3-14) have lost nine in a row.
