Apparently the folks in the bleacher seats might need a little extra protection while attending Chicago Cubs games, as a fan was hit by a piece of debris from the manual scoreboard.
The metal pin opened up a cut on the 19-year-old's head that had be closed by stitches, but, according to police, it may have turned out worse if he hadn't been wearing ... a plastic bucket.
Not a bucket hat. But some kind of plastic bucket, apparently.
Oh, those crazy folks in the bleachers.
