Opening Day is just around the corner.
The Detroit Tigers open the highly anticipated 2022 season on April 8, when they host the Chicago White Sox at Comerica Park. Though the White Sox are considered the favorites to win the AL Central, some believe the Tigers could be a surprising contender, with additions Javier Baez and Eduardo Rodriguez on board, as well as top prospect Spencer Torkelson making his MLB debut on Opening Day.
Another top prospect, Riley Greene, is nursing a foot fracture that’ll keep him out a few weeks, but he’s expected to make his MLB debut this season, too.
