Gregory Soto and Gio Arriera shined on Tuesday

Artie Lewicki gave up a two-run homer in the first, and the Hens played from behind throughout a 4-3 loss to Durham. Mikie Mahtook smashed his ninth home run of the season in the top of the second; but the Bulls promptly answered with two more in the bottom half. The Hens battled back on a Dawel Lugo RBI single in the 7th, but Jacob Robson was gunned down at third and Christian Stewart and Mikie Mahtook whiffed, stranding Lugo at second. In the eighth, Harold Castro drove in a run on an infield single but Dixon Machado flied out to center and Robson was rung up looking, thwarting the comeback.
