Gary Sanchez just hit the longest Statcast-measured home run ever in Comerica Park

DETROIT -- New York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez hit a 493-foot home run in the first inning on Tuesday night, the longest home run in Comerica Park since Statcast began keeping track of distances.

Sanchez's 24th home run of the year was also the second-longest this season. Only Yankees teammate Aaron Judge has hit one farther.

The Yankees scored three runs in the top of the first inning against Boyd.
