The Detroit Tigers added another series win to their 2025 achievements last weekend by taking two of three from the Toronto Blue Jays inside the Rogers Centre. On Sunday, they snuck by the Blue Birds, 3-2, thanks to some home run heroics by Spencer Torkleson.
Now, AJ Hinch’s crew heads out to the Gateway of the West to take on the St. Louis Cardinals for the second three-game set of the current road swing starting on Monday. Detroit enters the weekday series with a two-game lead over the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Mets overall and a five-game lead over the Minnesota Twins in the Central Division.
