The first half of the Detroit Tigers’ current six-game homestand has not been as successful as most of the season has been so far, with the Texas Rangers coming to Comerica Park to take two of three from the Motor City Kitties.
The franchise crossed the threshold of the magical 40-game mark over the weekend and held the best record in the American League heading into Sunday afternoon’s game. Unfortunately, the visitors prevailed in a 6-1 final, giving the home team just its third series loss of the 2025 campaign so far.
