Elvin Rodriguez clears 10 straight no-hit innings in SeaWolves’ win

Starter Drew Hutchison had a pretty good night, but the Hens bullpen did not. In the end, they weren’t able to generate enough offense for it to matter.

Things got off to a promising start in the first. Facing former Tigers center fielder Anthony Gose, who opened for the Clippers, Renato Nuñez mashed a solo shot to get the Hens on the board. Hutchison then allowed just one run through five frames. In the sixth, things finally went south. Hutchison allowed just one earned in the inning, but Ian Krol, who relieved him, went on to allow four runs in the inning as the Clippers pulled away.
