Early damage proves fatal, Tigers' bats iced in finale, 3-0

Detroit – It took two innings for Michael Fulmer to settle into his start Sunday, and by the time he did the damage was fatal.

Jurickson Profar hit a solo home run in the first and the Rangers scored two more in a sloppy second inning and made that hold up, taking the finale of the three-game series, 3-0.

Profar reached out basically with one arm and flipped a 1-2 slider, which was located down and away, into the seats in right field.

The second inning could have, and maybe should have, gone a lot worse for the Tigers.
