Two days after another poor outing, right-hander Tyson Ross has been placed on the 10-day injured list with right elbow ulnar neuritis, manager Ron Gardenhire said after the team’s 5-3 win over the Minnesota Twins on Sunday afternoon.
“It came on in the last start and something that, waking up the next day, I was hoping it was feeling better,” Ross said. “But it wasn’t, so it was a couple days of treatment and now it hasn’t really improved.”
Ross was dealing with numbness in his fingers, Gardenhire said.
