Detroit Tigers: Twins take final game with clutch hit by Kepler

The Detroit Tigers and Minnesota Twins finished up a four-game series today with the Twins up two games to one. Detroit jumped out to an early lead but Minnesota quickly bounced back. Detroit would end up retaking the lead, but Minnesota would get a clutch two-run single by Max Kepler and hold the lead to take the game four to three.

Jordan Zimmermann got the start for Detroit and pitched a decent game. He gave up nine hits but only allowed two runs to cross over the course of six innings. When he left the game, he was in the position to get his second win of the season before the bullpen blew the lead.
