ARLINGTON, Texas — It was seven years in the making and it took a couple of trades, but Travis Demeritte finally ran onto the field at Globe Life Park on Friday night — as a member of the Detroit Tigers.
Two days after the Tigers acquired Demeritte as part of a two-prospect package from the Braves for closer Shane Greene, the outfielder arrived at the stadium he was once destined to play at.
