Detroit Tigers suffer 100th loss in putrid offensive performance vs. Oakland A's

The Detroit Tigers had two hits in a 3-1 loss against the Oakland Athletics on Sunday afternoon, falling to 42-100 on the season, their most losses since 2003, when they went 43-119.

Christin Stewart homered in the fifth inning for the Tigers' lone run, and Victor Reyes doubled to open the sixth inning.

Daniel Norris (3-12) pitched three innings, allowing one run on one hit and striking out two.

A's lefty Sean Manaea struck out 10 over seven innings.
