Detroit Tigers sign MLB draft's No. 12 overall pick Jace Jung. Here's what's next for him

The Detroit Tigers have signed second baseman Jace Jung, the No. 12 overall pick in the 2022 draft.

The 21-year-old, a left-handed hitter from Texas Tech, signed for a $4,590,300 bonus, according to MLB.com's Jim Callis. The signing bonus equals the full slot value for the 12th pick.

Jung is represented by agent Scott Boras.

Now that Jung has signed, he will officially begin his professional career at the team's spring training complex in Lakeland, Florida. The Tigers already agreed to terms with second-round pick Peyton Graham, a shortstop from Oklahoma.
