Detroit Tigers reportedly won't host St. Louis Cardinals due to COVID-19: What we know

The St. Louis Cardinals coronavirus outbreak isn't getting better. And the Detroit Tigers are feeling the impact.

USA TODAY's Bob Nightengale reports that two players said they expect Tuesday's 6:10 p.m. game at Comerica Park, and perhaps the entire four-game series, to be postponed because of positive COVID-19 tests within the Cardinals' organization.

The Athletic's Mark Saxon reports that the Cardinals are not traveling to Detroit and will have seven games to make up.

This weekend, the Cardinals had at least six members, of which three are players, test positive for COVID-19.
