The goose, indeed, is loose.
It’s taken over the Detroit Tigers and watched from atop James McCann’s locker as catcher John Hicks — the star of the team’s fourth straight win — said as much.
“The goose is loose around here,” Hicks said. “It’s a big thing.”
Before the bottom of the eighth inning on Saturday afternoon at Comerica Park against the Toronto Blue Jays, the jumbotron flashed a “Rally Goose” video.
