The Detroit Tigers are adding six players to their 40-man roster before Wednesday evening’s deadline to protect players from selection in next month’s Rule 5 draft.
The players are right-handed pitcher Beau Burrows, outfielder Daz Cameron, righty Anthony Castro, outfielder Derek Hill, righty Kyle Funkhouser and infielder Isaac Paredes, according to multiple persons with knowledge of the situation.
