Drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 26th round of the 2018 draft out of San Diego State University, RHP Garrett Hill has seemingly come out of nowhere to have one of the better seasons among the Tiger’s minor league system.
Hill is a nice surprise for the Detroit Tigers organization, beginning to make some noise in the minors. Like I mentioned about Tarik Skubal, finding hidden gems with later round picks can really speed up this rebuild. The amount of young pitching talent that the Tigers have in their system is unbelievable and is a huge asset going forward.
