Detroit Tigers Promote Jimenez to Triple-A, Sign Cesar Ramos

Detroit Tigers general manager Al Avila and the rest of the Detroit front office made two moves on Friday that could pay dividends in the playoff race—especially where the bullpen is concerned.

So far this season, the new-look Detroit bullpen has been largely been dependable. Francisco Rodriguez, Shane Greene and Justin Wilson have settled in at the back of the bullpen.

Additionally, Alex Wilson, Kyle Ryan and Bruce Rondon have all shown flashes of being able to contribute on a more consistent basis.

However, outside of that group, the results have been far from perfect.
