The Detroit Tigers lost to the Houston Astros, 2-1, on Monday at Fitteam Ballpark in West Palm Beach, Fla. Here’s what happened:

What happened

The Tigers lost in a pitchers’ duel.

They scored in the second inning when Travis Demeritte scored on Willi Castro’s double. Demeritte reached on a two-out single and moved to third on Grayson Greiner’s single.

The Astros tied it in the bottom of the inning when Myles Straw’s single off left-hander Tarik Skubal scored Carlos Correa from second.
