Nobody inside the Detroit Tigers clubhouse is going to complain about Monday’s off day.
After another lopsided, mostly non-competitive loss — the Tigers were beaten, 8-0, by the Cleveland Indians on Sunday afternoon at Comerica Park — they’ll try to regroup before a two-game series at the Pittsburgh Pirates on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Tigers (25-43) were swept by the Indians, and have lost six of their past seven games.
