The Detroit Tigers star showed he can steal an out or two in the field still, using the slight of hand to pick off a runner at first base during the Grapefruit League game against the Minnesota Twins on Monday.
In the bottom of the third inning, Twins shortstop Ehire Adrianza singled to center. In the next at bat, Adrianza drew a throw over to first by pitcher Tyson Ross.
