Cameron Maybin, the former Detroit Tigers top prospect who was traded for Miguel Cabrera and returned in 2016 as a fan favorite, is headed back to town.
With a hole in right field, just days away from the full-squad reporting to spring training in Lakeland, Florida, the Tigers addressed that need in solid fashion, signing Maybin to a one-year deal.
The deal is worth $1.5 million and up to $2.
