LAKELAND, Fla. — Detroit Tigers general manager Al Avila recently sat down for an extended interview with the Free Press at the team’s spring training facility.
Avila covered several topics, mostly related to the team’s rebuild and why he’s encouraged by the team’s progress, its developing players and an improved team he expects to see at Comerica Park this season.
