After the Detroit Tigers dropped their third straight loss skipper Ron Gardenhire had a solution. It wasn’t to yell at the team or make them practice more. Jeff Siedel, of the Detroit Free Press, writes that Gardenhire had the team turn on music and have a cold beer.
It was a solution that seemed to work as the Tigers won the next game to get out of their three-game losing streak. Tigers outfielder Leonys Martin had a blip on Friday in the Tigers win. A fly ball bounced off his forehead in the ninth.
