Here are three observations from the Detroit Tigers’ intrasquad game at Comerica Park on Monday afternoon:
1. Miggy comes around
Miguel Cabrera ended camp the way he began it: Cabrera hit a double to the deepest part of the field, one-hopping the fence in left-center field. It was the longest ball Cabrera has hit in intrasquad play but perhaps not the hardest — despite not finding many hits, he looks good.
