TAMPA, Fla. — Daniel Norris has a motto that he lives by, “Just keep living,” a nod to his faith and adventure and, in years past, persistence through injuries that have kept him from reaching his potential as a pitcher.
Through all of those trials and tribulations — some self-inflicted — he has carried himself with a certain positivity that one day, he will reach that potential. One of these years, he will stay healthy. And one of these starts, his mid-90 mph fastball velocity will return.
