Detroit Tigers' C.J. Cron brings crucial home run pop to meager lineup: 'He's fun to watch'

Detroit Tigers first baseman C.J. Cron will take all the singles he can get.

What he's really looking to do, though, is drive the baseball to the seats. It has been his forte since entering the big leagues in 2014 with the Los Angeles Angels — 114 home runs in 673 career games. He smashed 30 of them in 2018, and 25 more in 2019.

And while he hasn't homered for the Tigers in an official game, he has already showcased how dangerous he can be in the cleanup spot behind Miguel Cabrera.
