Major League Baseball released the bonus pool and slot value numbers for the 2025 amateur draft on Wednesday. The Washington Nationals were the winners of the draft lottery, taking home the top pick and bonus pool despite only having the fourth best odds to land the top spot. The Detroit Tigers, after years of picking in the top half of the draft, will have the 24th overall pick this time around.
The slot value for the 24th pick is $3,726,300, and the Tigers will have an overall pool of $10,990,800, which is the 17th highest pool.
