Despite back-to-back home runs, Tigers' Fulmer 'so close to being back'

CINCINNATI — Michael Fulmer didn’t want any of his pitches back.

Not the low slider, the one that catcher James McCann prepared to block in the dirt before Scooter Gennett golfed it over the right field wall. Not the first pitch slider on the next at-bat, either — the one that Eugenio Suarez cheated on, just barely clearing the left field wall for a go-ahead home run.
