A Comerica Park employee has been fired and arrested after he was filmed spitting in pizzas on Friday.
The employee, who has not been named, told coworker Quinell May that he was going to spit in the food. May, 17, told the Free Press that he filmed the act so he would be able to show it to management. He said when he left his position to contact management, however, he was fired for not working.
May said the incident happened during Friday's game against the Kansas City Royals and that it was the first time he'd seen such a thing at Comerica.
