How we remember him

As one of the greatest power hitters in Detroit Tigers history, no one hit more home runs between 1990 and 1995 than Fielder. In his six-plus seasons with the Tigers, he had 245 homers with 758 RBIs and became the first Tiger to hit at least 25 homers in six consecutive seasons.

In 1990, Fielder became just the 11th player in MLB history to hit at least 50 home runs in a season.
