Welcome to the weekend and get yourself geared up for a big double-header today against the Orioles (thanks, April weather). So the big series this week was against the San Diego Padres. The Padres, who currently have the second-best record in all of baseball, and the Tigers did a mighty fine job keeping them in check. I think it was actually a great example of how much the Tigers have learned and developed early in the season, because we saw them open the season against the Dodgers and while they fought admirably, they were swept. Now, a team that is currently better than the Dodgers was trounced by the Tigers, and that has to feel pretty good.
