John Smoltz can only help he gets the kind of return on his investment that the Atlanta Braves got when they acquired him from the Detroit Tigers in that still-scrutinzed deadline deal in 1987.

Smoltz, who went on to a Hall-of-Fame career pitching mostly for the Braves, has listed his suburban Atlanta home for $5.2 million.

No surprise, it's quite the home, complete with 10 bedrooms, 10 full bathrooms, four half-bathrooms and 18,384 square feet in all.

There's also a pond for fishing.

The master bedroom also has a massive alk-in closet, which shows off Smoltz's extensive wardrobe, including a healthy stock of Michigan State garb.
