Though the Detroit Tigers were postponed for a sixth time this season on Sunday night, there were a couple of local connections on television.
The Houston Astros and Texas Rangers were on ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball. Pitching for the Astros was ace right-hander Justin Verlander and former Tigers All-Star. And pitching for the Rangers was veteran righty Bartolo Colon, who represents an interesting piece of Tiger Stadium history.
