Kyle Funkhouser struggled with his control in his debut with the Mud Hens, but still limited the RailRiders to just two runs in six innings of work. Warwick Saupold and Kevin Comer struggled in relief as well, and the offense could do nothing to contest the outcome. Leonys Martin doubled to account for the only Hens hit. Nestor Cortes struck out 10, allowing just the hit and a walk to Jacob Robson.
