Alex Faedo and the SeaWolves take down the Altoona Curve

Spenser Watkins threw a good game in his second start for the Hens, but ultimately the offense ran out of steam. The righthander went six innings, allowing three earned runs on six hits, two walks, with five punchouts. The Bats scored one run in the second and two in the third, but the Hens fought back. Mikie Mahtook singled in Willi Castro — who reached base three times and stole three bases — in the bottom of the third, and eventually scored on Jacob Robson’s sacrifice fly to left. Castro was on base again in the fifth, and scored on a Dustin Peterson single to knot things at three apiece.
