When the Detroit Tigers traded Cameron Maybin and his $9 million option to the Los Angeles Angels, they created a hole in their lineup where there previously was none, and they’ve been looking for ways to plug that hole ever since.
The Tigers have in house options, such as Anthony Gose, JaCoby Jones, and Tyler Collins— all left handed hitters within the organization, It’s do or die time for Collins and Gose, as well as outfielder Steven Moya, who are all out of options and could be lost on waivers should they fail to make the opening day roster.
