DETROIT -- Four pitchers held the Cleveland Indians to just a run on five singles Saturday night as the Detroit Tigers eked out a 2-1 win at Comerica Park.
The Tigers (45-61) and Indians (56-47) will play the rubber match of the series on Sunday afternoon.
The Tigers took the lead in the third inning when Jose Iglesias doubled and JaCoby Jones followed with a two-run home run to left. (Jones later left the game due to injury).
Tigers lefty Blaine Hardy started the game in place of Francisco Liriano, who went to the hospital after suffering an allergic reaction on Friday.
