— It doesn’t sound like Anthony Mantha is going to change.
If need be, Mantha will continue to protect himself and his teammates even after fracturing finger on his right hand March 30 in Tampa during a fight with Lightning's Luke Witkowski (Western Michigan), which caused Mantha to miss the final five games of the season.
Mantha spoke with reporters Friday for the first time since the injury.
“I don’t like fighting, (and) I don’t know why I fought so that much this year,” said Mantha of the five fights, a career-high regardless of junior or professional level.
