Wings' Coreau roughed up in first start of season

Boston — Jared Coreau said he was ready.

But the Bruins beat him on their first two shots on goal on Tuesday, the fourth time they scored twice in the opening minute of a game in their 94-year history.

They scored again in the first period, to take a 3-2 lead over the Red Wings. The Wings pulled him early in the second period after he allowed his fourth goal on 16 shots.
