Forward Dylan Larkin and goalie Jimmy Howard will play for Team USA — coached by Jeff Blashill — which gives the national team a local Red Wings flavor.
“I’m excited; it’s another opportunity to get better and have fun playing,” said Larkin, who will be making his third consecutive appearance in the tournament. “I’ve always enjoyed playing for them (USA Hockey) and representing my country.
